This toshiba dynabook AX/940LS had a fan problem and the system temperature was high. A high temperature will make your computer work more slowly and will increase the error rate. It will also shorten the life of the processor and hard drive.
We could disassemble and clean both the fan and heat sink. Now the temperature is back to normal values and the laptop can be safely used.
The heat sink is an essential part of all computers.
